TRUDI CASE
My Approach
I work with women who are exhausted, overwhelmed, suffering crippling self-doubt, it's called "burnout." They never feel like they’re enough, they’re not on their own side.
Of course nobody knows “you” like you do, but there may be patterns, behaviours and actions that are not serving you well. You can’t move forward to wherever it is you want to be. That’s where I come in.
I’ll get that information from you, find out what lights you up, what drains you, get your body and mind working in a way that aligns with your values, not what others expect of you, spending time doing the things that make you feel more like you.
The 5-Step Renew Program
RENEW - A 5-Step Program for Women Recovering from Burnout — Without Burning Down Their Lives
You’re exhausted
You care deeply
And no matter how hard you try, it still feels like it’s never enough.
If you’re burned out, it’s not because you’re weak or failing. It’s because you’ve been carrying too much — emotionally, mentally, and relationally — for too long.
RENEW is a science-based process that helps you restore energy, clarity, and choice — in your life.
Why Burnout Needs a Different Approach
Most burnout advice tells women to:
manage their time better
think more positively
add another “healthy habit”.
But burnout often isn’t caused by poor habits. It’s caused by incomplete stress and relentless emotional demand — especially on women.
When stress isn’t completed in the body, it accumulates. And accumulated stress becomes emotional exhaustion, numbness, and a sense that nothing you do makes a difference.
RENEW works because it addresses what burnout really is, not what it looks like from the outside.
R — Regulate your nervous system
Burnout begins in the body — and bodies regulate best in safe relationships with you and others.
In this first step, we help your nervous system move out of constant threat mode, using practices that restore a felt sense of safety. Some of that happens within you. Some of it happens between you and others.
You’ll learn how regulation is supported by:
rhythm, breath and movement.
predictable routines.
being met, understood, or accompanied rather than managing everything alone.
This is where:
exhaustion begins to lift
emotional reactivity softens
your body starts to trust that it’s not on its own.
You don’t have to always feel calm. You just need to feel less alone inside your experience.
E — Empty the stress cycle
Stress resolves when the body receives evidence that the threat has passed. That evidence can come through movement, breath, expression — and connection.
In this step, we focus on completing the stress response cycle in ways that fit real life, including:
physical movement.
emotional release.
co-regulation through safe social connection.
You’ll learn how to:
recognise loneliness as stress, not weakness.
let emotions move through you instead of being contained.
stop carrying things alone that were never meant to be held on your own.
use everyday moments of connection to restore energy and resilience.
Burnout thrives in isolation.
Stress completes most fully when we are seen, believed, or accompanied.
N — Name the real enemy
Burnout is sustained by self-blame — and self-blame grows best in isolation.
In this step, we widen the lens. We name the systemic and relational forces that quietly demand women over-give, over-function, and stay pleasant while depleted.
You’ll begin to see how:
unrealistic expectations are reinforced socially
emotional labour is normalised, not shared
disconnection from your own needs is rewarded
As clarity grows, shame loosens.
And when shame loosens, connection becomes safer again — with yourself and with others.
Understanding that burnout is not a personal failing is profoundly satisfying.
E — Evaluate: persist or pivot
One of the most exhausting parts of burnout is deciding — alone — whether to keep going or let go.
In this step, we work with your brain’s motivation system to help you evaluate effort, progress, and cost — without abandoning yourself or overriding your intuition.
You’ll learn how to:
check in with your own inner signals
reality-test expectations shaped by others
make decisions that preserve dignity and relationship
distinguish between persistence that strengthens you and persistence that isolates you.
Sometimes renewal means staying. Sometimes it means leaving.
And sometimes it means asking for support rather than pushing harder.
W — Weave a sustainable life
Burnout recovery isn’t about becoming endlessly resilient.
It’s about weaving a life that includes:
rest without guilt
boundaries that protect connection rather than sever it
ambition that doesn’t require self-erasure
relationships that allow reciprocity, not constant giving.
In this final step, we integrate what you’ve learned into daily life — so regulation, stress completion, and connection become part of how you live, not another thing to manage.
Sustainability isn’t self-sufficiency.
It’s knowing when to lean, when to lead, and when to rest.
